coaxial switches. This compact switch offers the same reliability,
repeatability (typically 0.01 dB), and long life as the HP 8494/5/6/7K
Series step attenuators from which it was derived. It uses the same
Viking connector as the step attenuators, for dc control.

The 8769K switch is a
modified version of the HP 8497K Step Attenuator, for applications
requiring a single pole, 6 throw coaxial switch. The switch ports are
unterminated. This switch offers exceptional repeatability of 0.03 dB over
5 million switching cycles. It has Options 002 (SMA Connectors), and 008
(8-inch Ribbon Cable w/DIP Connector). This item is

utilizes selective linear actuators for each position. RF geometry is
optimized for SMA connectors and operates over a 0-18 GHz frequency band.
Individual solenoids mean faster switching time...no waiting for the
switch to sequence through a number of positions before stopping at the
selected position. Separate "selective" solenoids provide positive action
and a low actuator current requirment. Actuating voltage is 28
VDC.
